6.14.05 The Certainties of Confusion
The Certainties of Confusion
by Meagan Blanchard
Abandon it,
Abolish me.
Confuse the monster,
Clear the sea.
Everlasting are the lies,
Engulfing are the effects.
Gasping for air,
Galloping forever.
It's there, following me.
Igniting old flames.
Killing all
Knowledge of
Myself.
Mingling with
Others.
Opening up to
Questions concerning the
Quite.
Standing Alone.
Seemingly Forever,
Under a tree.
Unpredictable
Wants
Wallow in my brain.
"You were mine!" I
Yell out loud.

I origionally wrote this about 6 years ago. Origionally, yes it was about a lost flame, but I posted it the other day, because it reminded me of my drive for success and the struggle to stay positive. Sometimes, the drive to succeed is all consuming - I am reminding myself in a subtle way, that yes there is more to life than making money. But, I am also helping myself to remember that success can and will be mine to have.
Hope that answers your question, bro. Love ya. Meggie
Dani,
I will answer this comment in a new post, as it has become extremely long.
I would like to stress though, that your words have effected me deeply. It is heady to hear of another persons perception of myself, more importantly, it is down right intoxicating when that perception is from one of my very close friends - and - it is positive.
I cannot thank you enough.
